Join us for the 2019 Man and Youth of the Year Dinner
Sunday, March 3, 2019
- 4:30 p.m. (starting with silent auction)
Anshe Emet Synagogue
3751 N. Broadway,
Chicago, IL 60613
Cost to attend is $36 for all (the same cost as in 2010!!!).
A more convenient format and maintaining lower cost are among the improvements this year in an enhanced Men’s Club Man of the Year and Youth of the Year event. This year we continue to accept online registration and payments. It is easier than ever for all clubs to be involved.
Place your discounted dinner reservations and payment. See Post for Shopify link to place reservations.
Reserve early, before Feb. 20th for discounted price of just $36.
Late registrations increase to $45 Feb. 20th. Last day for online registration is Feb. 26, 2019 with very limited walk-ins (cash/check) payments accepted at the door. We will do our best, but without advance reservation you may need to wait after table seating, no shows, catering and room limit is evaluated.
Let your Club’s Honorees know how much you appreciate them with an ad. Deadline for Ad Book is February 20, 2019. See post for Shopify link.
This year’s program will be a late Sunday afternoon/early evening dinner. This allows Region clubs from Chicago’s western suburbs and the greater Milwaukee area to travel to north suburban Northbrook without the hassle of long commutes during the work week evening rush hour.
“We’re extremely grateful to our host committee from Anshe Emet Synagogue for all its fine assistance. A special thanks to Event Chair Gregg Pollack and his dedicated committee.
Auction/Raffle Fundraiser
In 2011, the Region launched a silent auction/raffle fundraiser at its Man of the Year events in metro Chicago and St. Louis. Funds are used to help men defray the cost of attending the International FJMC Convention. TBD is handling this year’s Region fundraiser. Those interested in contributing such auction items as restaurant gift cards, hotel and travel incentive packages, artwork, spectator sports tickets, jewelry, health club passes and other goods/services with perceived value are
encouraged to email TBD at: ___.com.
50% of ad revenue from each Youth Group will be sent that group’s synagogue Youth Department. Other funds raised from Man of the Year events help underwrite the cost of Region retreats and FJMC’s biennial convention (as scholarships) for first-time attendees and others seeking financial assistance to participate at these important programs.
